I was approached by Alligence to bring their AR concept to life. Making use of a scannable QR code and Apple's ARKit, we created an iPad app to allow users to visualize the features of the Siemen SimRod in AR.

Working with a talented team of designers and 3D modellers, I was able to create the app remotely before joining the team in their Antwerp office for a week of testing and refinement.

Users were able to scan a QR code on the front of the car, and view highlighted areas of the car via a selection of markers. By locking onto these markers for a set period of time, content would load and display over the car in AR. Users could then move around the car and see higlighted components such as the batteries, suspension and airflow dynamics of the car.
