General Summary: The Sam's Club Team Lead- Campbell Snacks- is responsible for the development and implementation to drive sales within trade rate, volume, profit, and share growth within all snacks categories including bakery. The Sam's Club Team Lead will manage the relationship between Sam's Club headquarters' team and Campbells HQ. In addition, the Sam's Club Team Lead will manage one direct report. Responsibilities include proactively managing and delivering growth of the Campbell Snacks portfolio, creating,
evaluating, and updating business plans to meet all sales objectives. In addition, the Sam's Club Team Lead is responsible for implementing brand strategies and tactics with Sam's Club, by working closely with key decision makers at Sam's Club to help grow our portfolio in a limited SKU environment. The Sam's Club Team Lead is also responsible for communicating plans to internal and external field operations teams. This position is in Rogers, AR. Approximately 10-15% travel required.
Primary Responsibilities: - Utilize the Campbell Sales Planning & Customer Investment platform to create optimal customer plans to drive the portfolio.
- Manage and lead cross portfolio platforms to drive volume and profit targets.
- Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer - help develop and execute higher ROI activities to drive Campbell Snacks portfolio and scale.
- Proactively monitor and update the customer's overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending and volume, to achieve the annual operating plan.
- Leverage Customer Strategy to develop and implement collaborative marketing programs in alignment with brand and customer strategies.
- Conduct post event analysis to evaluate promotional volume, consumption, profit and spending results versus plan and leverage findings to maximize future promotional opportunities.
- Conduct business reviews to discuss the state of the business, consumer trends, key business drivers, incremental opportunities, etc.
- Understand Snacking strategies and tactics and implement them by working closely with the Sam's Club key decision makers.
- Develop accurate monthly forecasts to maximize supply chain efficiencies and trade rate by tracking deliveries, consumption data and inventory changes. Proactively call out potential risks or threats to monthly forecasts.
- Deliver innovation and SKU level rotations to customer.
- Monitor and manage deductions balances and conduct post audits.
- Manage sales analyst and provide the required reviews, feedback, etc. as a manager.
- Contribute and lead as a member of the VP of Sales, Walmart leadership staff.
Job Complexity: - Assess any customer's competitive position, behaviors and strategies and understand how they align with Campbell's strategic goals to help determine a customer investment strategy (use of trade, customer shopper marketing, and integrated marketing equities) that will best support a joint plan to benefit Campbell's and the customer's revenue, profit and share growth.
- Develop productive working relationship with key decision makers at various levels within the customer's organizational structure.
- Requires cross-functional interaction that includes Customer Strategy, Customer Finance, Revenue & Growth Management, Demand Planning, Supply Chain and Brand Marketing.
- Requires strong understanding of and experience with trade and P&L management.
- Ability to adapt and adjust plans based on the company and/or customer needs and create a win-win solution for all parties.
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years of CPG Industry Sales and/ minimum 3 years customer facing selling role

Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$105,000-$172,200
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
